2012年9月20日上午,全球领先的PC厂商惠普公司在北京万达索菲特酒店召开了惠普消费类产品策略发布会。此次发布会,惠普携3999元预装win8系统的全民超极本HPPavilion14/15亮相,成为首个打破超极本价格坚冰的国际PC厂商。自此,惠普开启了消费类产品市场新策略的第一步进军超极本主流市场,抢占主流价位段,实现全民超极本构想,重回中国市场巅峰。预装win8操作系统的全民超极本将在10月底win8发布之后隆重上市,在此之前,惠普还将抢先发售多款非win8操作系统的全民超极本。另外为了丰富产品选择,惠普同时推出售价2999元的全新超薄本,旨在满足更多主流价位段的客户需求。
