译者文化身份的回归——全球化语境下的译者本土化意识培养

全球化语境下,译者的文化身份具有二重性的特征,即既融合外来文化又维护本土文化,二者既矛盾又统一。在翻译教学中,要警惕向外来语言和文化“一边倒”的倾向,适当向汉语和中国传统文化倾斜。本文首先总结了全球化语境下的翻译与翻译教学的特征,揭示了译者本土化意识的重要性,最后探讨了译者本土化意识的培养途径,指出译者的文化身份最终须回归本土。

In the context of globalization, the translator’s cultural identity is characterized by duality, that is, both the foreign culture and the indigenous culture are fused, and the two are both contradictory and united. In the teaching of translation, we should be vigilant toward the tendency of “one-sidedness” toward the foreign language and culture and appropriately lean toward Chinese and Chinese traditional culture. This paper first summarizes the characteristics of translation and translation teaching in the context of globalization, reveals the importance of translator localization awareness, and finally explores the cultivation of translator localization awareness, and points out that the translator’s cultural identity eventually needs to return to the homeland .
