隐喻作为构建和表达新概念的一种认知方式,是引起词义扩大和缩小的内在机制。词汇不仅有其本身的概念意义,而且有语用意义。本文以Lakoff和Johnson的《我们赖以生存的隐喻》为框架,在参考文献的基础上,对表示人们情感的词汇进行整理,分析了其现象,特点及语用意义。这些研究将进一步促进词汇语用学的发展以及对人类跨文化交际和英语教学都有重大意义。
As a cognitive way to construct and express new concepts, metaphor is the internal mechanism that causes the expansion and contraction of meaning. Vocabulary not only has its own conceptual meaning, but also pragmatic meaning. Based on the references, Lakoff and Johnson’s “Metaphor of Survival” are used to sort out the expressions of people’s emotions, and their phenomena, characteristics and pragmatic meanings are analyzed. These researches will further promote the development of vocabulary pragmatics and have great significance to human intercultural communication and English teaching.
