在去年轰轰烈烈的大跃进中,气象工作也有許多飞跃的成就,人工降水工作就是其中一个有代表性的方面。人工降水工作是在去年8月初首先在吉林开始的。当时只經过很短时間的准备,在技术力量很少的情况下就搞起来了。接着,在西北的祁連山,在湖北、河北、安徽等地也开始进行試驗。到去年年底,不仅在上述地区取得了地面操作和飞机操作的一些結果,而且还有其他地区的地方气象工作人員,也在經过短期学习后开始了人工降水工作。
During the vigorous Great Leap Year last year, there were also many remarkable achievements in meteorological work. Artificial precipitation work is one of the most representative aspects. Precipitation work first started in Jilin in early August last year. At that time, only after a short period of preparation, it was done with little technical force. Then, in the Qilian Mountains in the northwest, experiments were started in Hubei, Hebei and Anhui.
