在江苏省南京—六合一级公路1.36km路段上,安装的半封闭交通控制系统是一种把交通冲突点在时间上分隔开的控制手段,即安排主干道车流中的间隙时间让行人穿越的一种控制办法。该系统已于1985年10月投入运行,根据对半年多的运行情况调查证明,这种控制方式提高了主干道车流速度,保证平交路口行人的安全,是一种可行的方案。但是由于车流中的间隔随着交通流的增加而减小,所以这种利用车流间隔让行人横穿、克服横向干扰的方案能应用几年?便成为用户及有关方面的专家普遍关心的问题。
