Desi: Hey Iago, can we talk for a sec?
  Iago: What’s up?
Desi: Do you think you could put down the 1)joystick for a minute and have a conversation with me?
Iago: Sure, but not right now. ①I’m knee deep in a major quest right now.
Desi: So what you’re saying is that this game is more important to you than I am, is that right?
Iago: I said nothing of the sort. Now’s just not a good time.
Desi: There’s never a good time. Your attention is always divided.
Iago: What? Did you say something? Desi: I really can’t stand you sometimes. Did you hear that?
Iago: Why? I’m the same guy I’ve always been. ②You knew what you were getting yourself into when we met in that chat room. I told you, I’m a gamer. A digital dude for a digital age!
Desi: But you also said you liked me. And I’ve seen little evidence, if any, to support that claim.
Iago: ③I wish I knew what to say, but I’m kind of in the middle of something right now, which I thought I made abundantly clear just now.
Desi: You might very well be the worst boyfriend on the face of the earth! Do you know that?
Iago: I highly doubt that. It’s not like I hit you or anything like that.
Desi: No, you don’t hit me. ④But you do hurt me with your words, or lack thereof. ⑤I mean, how can you be so preoccupied with some foolish fantasy world, when you’ve got a flesh and blood female, standing right in front of you, practically begging you for just an ounce of attention?
Iago: ⑥Why are you getting so bent out of shape?
Desi: Because you love your stupid video game more than me!!
Iago: Well, for one, the stupid video game isn’t 2)berating me right now. ⑦And secondly, the game isn’t a needy, 3)whiney, 4)high maintenance, holier than thou princess, who doesn’t know when to simply shut up and let sleeping dogs lie!
Desi: Really? That’s how little I mean to you?
Iago: And now you made me die. Thanks a lot. I’ve gotta go all the way back to the last save point.
Desi: You know what? ⑧You two could go on a romantic date for all I care; you and your beloved little game. You spend more money downloading magic spells than you ever did on me. So really, have fun you two! Nice knowing you.
  Iago: Good. Fine. Whatever. Leave.
Desi: ⑨Good 5)riddance.(mumbling as she leaves) Insensitive son of a…
