江苏省滨海中学创办于1938年,1999年通过国家级示范性高中评估验收,2003年转评为江苏省首批四星级高中。该校新校区占地300余亩、建筑面积8万多平方米,在校学生3600余名。在专任教师中,有研究生47人,特级教师4人,高级教师121人,各类名教师、学科带头人、教学能手共130多人,专业技术职务结构合理。学校设施一流,功能齐备。装配各类实验室、综合实践活动室32间,图书馆藏书16万册,建有千兆主干校园网、教育教学信息资源库,所有教室都配备了多媒体教学平台,满足了教育教学对现代教育技术装备的要求,为教育教学质量的提升打下了坚实的基础。七十多载春风化雨,学校先后向社会输送了4万多名高中毕业生,为国家培养了数以万计的优秀人才,形成了“笃志、博学、求实、创新”的校风、“唯严、唯谨、唯真、唯实”的教风以及“不厌、不馁、不疏、不嬉”
