宝泉岭管理局始建于1948年,是黑龙江省农垦总局九个管理局之一。地处黑龙江与松花江会和处的三角洲地带,北以黑龙江与俄罗斯为界,边境线长160公里。总控制面积6115平方公里,耕地面积476万亩,林地118万亩,草原35万亩,水域69万亩,所辖14个国有农场,最早的建于1948年2月1日,1968年8月25日,成立中国人民解放军黑龙江生产建设兵团第二师,下属10个团。1976年2月,撤消生产建设兵团第二师与黑龙江省国营农场管理局合江分局,更名为黑龙江省宝泉岭国营农场管理局,1997年更名为黑龙江省农垦总局宝泉岭分局。2011年1月1日,随着《黑龙江垦区条例》的正式实施,更名为黑龙江省农垦宝泉岭管理局。

In February 1976, the second division of Production and Construction Corps was withdrawn from the Hejiang Branch of Heilongjiang Provincial Farm Management Bureau and renamed as Heilongjiang Baoquanling State Farm Management Bureau. In 1997, it was renamed as Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Land Reclamation Baoquanling Branch. January 1, 2011, with the “Heilongjiang Reclamation Ordinance,” the official implementation, renamed Heilongjiang Province Farm Reclamation Baoquanling Authority.
