According to 1987; (7): 26 ~ 28 reported, in order to ensure large ingot with high quality, must be taken to prevent the expansion of non-central part of the segregation and the formation of white spots. The molten steel was smelted with a 140t alkaline open hearth and pre-deoxidized with 0.02-0.05% Si. The contents of sulfur and hydrogen in the molten steel were 0.015-0.025% and 3.9-4.6 ppm, respectively. With 150t large tank in the furnace refining and vacuum degassing equipment for molten steel processing, large tank lining brick is high alumina, while the slag line part of the magnesia-chrome brick.
