改革开放以来,党和国家提出了加强公务员的综合素质和能力建设的要求。加强公务员的综合素质和能力建设,其中一个重要内容是加强语言培训,提高话语表达能力。话语表达能力是公务员的一项基本功。本文通过研究陕西省公务员英语教育的现状,分析影响其英语水平的因素,最后提出公务员英语教育必须以职业需求为导向,优化公务员英语教育的课程体系,提升人才培养的规格和质量,才能培养出更加符合我国未来经济发展方向的优质“应用型人才”。
Since the reform and opening up, the party and the state have put forward the requirements of strengthening the overall quality and ability of civil servants. One of the important contents of strengthening the comprehensive quality and capacity building of civil servants is to strengthen language training and improve their ability to express themselves. Discourse abilities are a basic function of civil servants. This paper studies the status quo of English education in civil servants in Shaanxi Province and analyzes the factors that affect their English proficiency. Finally, I propose that the English education of civil servants must be guided by professional needs and the curriculum system should be optimized to improve the quality and standard of English education. More in line with China’s future economic development direction of high-quality “applied talents ”.
