Objective: To investigate the difference of apoptosis-related genes in ovarian granulosa cells from patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Methods: Six patients with PCOS and control group were divided into three groups. The apoptotic gene chip technique was used in this study. The residual follicular granulosa cells of PCOS patients and control group after in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer The apoptosis genes were detected, and the gene chip data were processed and analyzed by bioinformatics. Results: There were 18 apoptotic genes in PCOS 3 group, of which 11 were up-regulated and 7 were down-regulated. The up-regulated genes were Mcl-1 (myeloid cell leukemia-1) gene and tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily gene. Conclusion: The expression of some apoptotic genes in ovarian granulosa cells in PCOS patients is disturbed, suggesting that granulosa cells play an important role in the pathogenesis of PCOS.
