（本刊讯/顾贵水）由中国服装协会、中国戏剧文学学会、中国服装设计师协会、浙江省文化厅、浙江省嵊州市人民政府联合主办的第三届嵊州国际领带服饰博览会暨中国民间越剧节，将于2002年11月8日至10日在中国“领带之乡”、“越剧之乡”——嵊州举行。
自1998年以来，嵊州曾先后举办了两届国际领带服饰博览会和两届中国民间越剧节。节会的举办对促进嵊州的知名度和影响力，起到了积极的作用，并推动了当地经济社会的发展。从今年起，两节将合二为一，并每年举办一次，以整合嵊州的经济、文化优势，集中打响嵊州品牌。
节会有15项主题活动，如嵊州招商引资项目推介会、中国服装协会服饰专委会年会、“巴贝”杯第八届中国模特之星大赛、领带流行趋势发布、“麦地郎”杯全国领带设计大奖赛、领带服饰展示展销、全国围棋男子甲级联赛、越剧文化产业发展研讨会等等。地处长江三角洲经济区的嵊州，素有越剧之乡、领带之乡、茶叶之乡、围棋之乡、竹编之乡之美誉。
Shengzhou to Hold Neckties and Yue Opera Festival
The Third Shengzhou Int‘l Neckties, Garment Accessories Fair plus Yue Opera Festival is to be held November 8-10, 2002 in Shengzhou, Zhejiang province, known as "the homeland of neckties" and "the homeland of the Yue Opera."
Since 1998 Shengzhou has held two international neckties, garment accessories fairs and two Yue Opera festivals. The fair and festival, held separately, have enhanced name recognition for the city and promoted local economic development. From this year on, sponsors have put the fair and festival into one and will hold the fair-cum-festival once every year.
Fifteen theme activities will be held during the festival. They include a conference where investment is invited for local projects, an annual meeting of China Garment Association, a fashion model contest, forecasting of necktie fashion trends, a necktie designing contest and a neckties and garment accessories exhibition.
