党中央深谋远虑、运筹决策总结出“坚持中国特色社会主义文化发展道路,努力建设社会主义文化强国”的宝贵文化发展的经验,是新时期文化繁荣与发展的伟大目标。展望全球,国际之间的经济、文化、思想交流互动日益加强,文化在国际间的竞争更显重要,我国更要重视对文化安全的维护。在国内人民群众的物质生活水平日益提高,文化作为民族向心力、凝聚力和创新能力的主要资源,作为经济社会发展的主要支撑,日益得到人民群众的迫切需要。文化是民族的根基和人民的精神依托。若没有先进的社会主义文化的指引,就没有文化的伟大繁荣和发展。若没有文化强国的伟大发展目标,就难以实现中华民族的伟大复兴。

Looking globally, the exchange of economic, cultural and ideological exchanges between the two countries will be increasingly strengthened. The competition of cultures in the world will become more and more important. Our country should pay more attention to the safeguard of cultural security. As the major resources for the national centripetal force, cohesion and innovation ability, as the main support for economic and social development, culture has increasingly gained the urgent material needs of the masses of the people. Culture is the foundation of the nation and the spiritual support of the people. Without the guidance of advanced socialist culture, there will be no great cultural prosperity and development. Without the great development goal of building a cultural power, it will be very hard to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
