近年来由于生源的下降,中等职业学校的生源面临着前所未有的严峻挑战,入校学生良莠不齐,有的学生的知识水平相当低。英语这一学科尤其突出,调查显示,中职刚入校的学生有38.63%的没有达到小学毕业应有的水平,72.24%的学生没有达到初中二年级应有的水平,入学时竟有10%的学生不能认读26个英文字母,面对这“残酷”的现实,作为中职英语教师,我们一定要以提高学生英语水平,提高学生的兴趣作为我们英语课堂教学的首要任务来抓。
