From September 26 to October 18, 1938, the Kwantung and Manchukuo authorities in Japan launched the “Great Crusade” campaign against the First Route Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Forces with the anti-Japanese star Yang Jingyu in the southeastern Manchuria.
