以美的物质和精神本身所产生的力量作为考察和研究对象,决定美构成一种特殊形态生产力的主要因素有如下几个方面。(一)美的社会尺度当美“物化”达到一定质量时,才能形成一种较高形态的生产力。但是又并非美的物化质量越大,它的物质和精神形态生产力就越高。美的物化太大会造成的一系列“对立的两极”问题,诸如社会问题、经济问题、政治问题、行为问题、生产问题、市场问题、观念问题等,都会严重阻碍它的提高。因此只有当美的物化与美的品质表现以及生产体系、生活体系、环境体系和需求体系相适应时,也就是说美的物化只有与“现代社会的因素”相适应时,美才能对生产力的实体和主体部分起到更佳的扩张作用。正是这种最佳的扩张作用构成了美这种特殊形态的生产力。可见,“社会尺度”是美构成一种特殊形态生产力的首要因素。(二)美的物化基础规定
