人们习惯地称写文章的人为“笔杆子”。我有一位朋友在某单位当秘书,属于“笔杆子”一类。他曾私下给我说,他经常违心地写一些拼凑拔高的表面文章。我劝他对这类材料进行实事求是的撰写或者干脆不写,他却为难地说:“领导吩咐了,不照办怎么行?你在人家手下工作,人家能决定你好多问题,岂敢轻易得罪?”看来,表面文章禁而不绝,除了少数领导的思想路线不够端正等原因外,还与一些“笔杆子”的“腰杆子”不直有关。因为那些表面文章毕竟是从“笔杆子”手中出来的啊!
