一九八三年十二月二十六日至二十九日,怀化地委党史办在黔阳县召开了“剿匪专题史料”征研座谈会。地委副书记钟明星、秘书长周亮一参加了会议,并讲了话。黔阳县委党史办自一九八三年四月以来,调集了六名干部专事这项工作,他们查阅了大量的历史资料,访问了当时驻军指战员和县党、政、军领导人,实地调查了土匪的盘踞地及其活动范围,积累了五十多万字的资料。
From December 26 to August 29, 1983, the History Office of the CPC Huaihua Prefectural Party Committee held a forum on “Symposium on Historical Data of Suppression of Banditry” in Qianyang County. Zhong Min, deputy secretary of the prefectural party committee and secretary general Zhou Liangyi attended the meeting and made a speech. Since April 1983, the Party History Office of Qianyang County has mobilized six cadre specialists to do this work. They have consulted a large amount of historical materials and interviewed the leaders and officers of the garrison and the leaders of Party, government and army in the county at the time, Field investigation of the entrenched bandits and their scope of activities, accumulated more than 500,000 words of information.
