In this study the effect of electric stimulus at auricular visceral points on the rabbit’s myoelectric activity of sphincter of oddi(SO)under three conditions(normal, celiac vagal trunk sectioned and M-receptor blocked)was observed. A needle electrode was poisitioned in SO to record myoelectric activity. The electric stimulus frequency 10 hertz, intensity 4~6 volts and time 10 minutes. In 14 animals the change of myoelectric activity of SO responding to auricular point stimulus was recorded before and after vagotomy, respectively. Results: under normal condition(vagus not amputated)after stimulus the SO myoelectric activity rate decreased from the control level 7.17±1.84 spike bursts/min(SB/min)to 4.76±1.68 SB/min(p<0.01),but in vagotomy background after stimulus the SO myoelectric activity rate slightly decreased from 4.14±1.57 SB/min to 3.36±1.60 SB/min.(p>0.05).In another 15 animals atropine(0.2mg/kg)was administrated intravenously to block M-receptor. In Vagotomy group auricular point stimulus caused SO myoelectric activity rate to fall from the control level 8.19±1.29 SB/min to 4.71±1.29 SB/min(p<0.01).On the condition of M-receptor blocked the rate altered from 4.15±1.10 SB/min to 4.25±0.92 SB/min(p>0.05).All these results indicate:①Electric stimulus of auricular visceral points has
