禅萌芽于魏晋,是庄子思想与西传佛教相结合的产物,是中国本土化的佛教,它名为宗教但实非宗教。禅作为一种人生态度,一种观察人生和自然的思维方法,逐步深入中国文人的心灵,积淀成一种稳定的文化心态,这种禅意的文化心态对中国艺术文化的影响是不容置疑的,尤其是文人水墨画,已经成为体现禅文化的重要载体。它的产生与发展都与禅宗思想有着密不可分的联系。本文试图以水墨画发展的时间为序,以几位大家及画作为例从这三方面逐一阐述禅宗与中国水墨画之间发展的关联性。
Zen germinated in the Wei and Jin Dynasties, is a product of the combination of Zhuang Zi’s thought and Western Buddhism. It is a Chinese indigenous Buddhism, but it is called religion but not religion. As a kind of attitude towards life and a way of thinking that observes life and nature, Zen gradually penetrates into the minds of Chinese literati and accumulates into a stable cultural mentality. The influence of Zen’s cultural mentality on Chinese art and culture is undeniable. In particular, the literati ink painting has become an important carrier of the Zen culture. Its emergence and development are closely linked with Zen Buddhism. This article tries to explain the relationship between Zen and the development of Chinese ink painting from the three aspects by taking everybody and painting as an example in the light of the time of the development of ink painting.
