(2007年3月15日江苏省政府“交通气象与安全生产工作会议”领导谈气象交通)仇和(江苏省副省长):交通对气象高度敏感,灾害性天气会影响交通运输的正常运行,可直接导致交通运输的中断,甚至造成城市交通的瘫痪,事实说明,气象与交通运行和安全生产关系越来越密切,做好交通气象工作,有利于维护交通安全、保障人民生命财产安全、实现经济社会可持续发展。各级政府和交通、建设等有关部门要切实加大对交通气象的投入力度,尤其要加大对江苏各条高速公路交通气象监测网建设的投入,在规划、建设和管理工作中,要把交通气象保障系统建设纳入规划,列入预算,计入成本。
