驻马店市位于河南省中南部,总面积1.49万 km~2,处在北亚热带向暖温带的过渡区,年平均降雨920mm,降雨时空分布不均,降水量的60%～70%集中在汛期。地势西高东低,且山区和平原分界明显,过渡地带短。特殊的地理气候条件,决定了驻马店市是全国的暴雨多发区,洪水突发性强,容易形成灾害。
Zhumadian City is located in south central Henan Province, with a total area of 14,900 km ~ 2, located in the transitional zone from the northern subtropics to the warm temperate zone with annual average rainfall of 920 mm. Temporal and spatial distribution of precipitation is uneven, with 60% ~ 70% of precipitation concentrated in the flood season. The terrain is high in the west and low in the east, and the boundary between the mountainous area and the plain is obvious with a short transition zone. The special geographical and climatic conditions have determined that Zhumadian City is a heavy rain-prone area in the country with sudden floods and disasters.
