2016年4月12日，布达佩斯丽思卡尔顿酒店开幕，这也是丽思卡尔顿在匈牙利开设的首家酒店。
酒店地处伊丽莎白广场的一栋历史保护建筑内，该建筑始建于1914年，曾是一家意大利保险公司的总部所在地，如今变身为一座拥有170间优雅客房和30间套房的奢华酒店。建筑外墙上的优雅雕像等众多原始建筑细节得以保留，酒店的内部设计则以多瑙河的清爽色调和波光为灵感，打造宽敞悠闲的当代氛围。酒店的宴会厅位于地下低层，可容纳180位客人就座，成为布达佩斯举办重大庆祝活动的全新理想之地。
12 April， 2016 - The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company， L.L.C. revealed its first hotel in Hungary today， with the much-anticipated opening of The Ritz-Carlton， Budapest near glittering Danube River.
The Ritz-Carlton， Budapest， is housed within a protected historic building， located on Elizabeth Square. Constructed in 1914 as the headquarters for an Italian insurance company， the building has seen many incarnations， but today it opens as a luxury property with 170 elegantly appointed rooms and 30 suites. Whilst many of the building's original architectural details have been retained， including elegant statues on the exterior walls， the interiors offer guests a spacious and relaxed contemporary environment， inspired by the cool colours and swirling water of the Danube River. Seating 180 people， the ballroom is situated on the lower ground floor and will become the perfect new Budapest location for milestone celebrations.
