本文立足于教学实践,结合大学英语的讲解,把英语文化教学过程中涉及到的文化信息进行筛选,在求同存异的相互尊重的前提,取其长处而用之。在培养学生英语听说读写基本能力的同时,加强对学生的人生观,价值观的培养,让当代的大学生做一个真正融入国际社会的人,一个健全的人。进而说明了文化背景知识导入的必要性和有用性。
Based on the teaching practice, combined with the explanation of college English, this article filters the cultural information involved in the process of English culture teaching, and takes advantage of its strengths in the premise of mutual respect and seeking common grounds while reserving differences. While cultivating students’ basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing, students should be trained in their outlook on life and values, so that contemporary college students can become a true person and a sound person integrated into the international community. Then it explains the necessity and usefulness of the introduction of cultural background knowledge.
