英美文学作为我国高等院校英语专业主要课程之一,英语专业在课程教学上面临很多困境,如:课堂时间的减少、教学任务的繁重、教学手段和方法以及学生对英语的学习兴趣不高等,因此,英美文学在教学方法上的改革也尤为重要。相关领导和教师要积极开展讨论式教学、开拓教学视野、重视学生学习的自主性,培养学生独立学习的兴趣。本文从优化教学课程内容、改善教学手段、改进教学方法等方面进行分析,对英美文学教学的改善和教学质量的提高都有很大的帮助。
Anglo-American literature is one of the main courses of English major in colleges and universities of our country. English major faces many difficulties in the course teaching, such as the decrease of classroom time, the heavy teaching task, teaching methods and methods and students’ interest in learning English, Therefore, the reform of English and American literature in teaching methods is also very important.
