一举世瞩目的日内瓦五五国会议不久就将开幕了。日内瓦会议的议程之一是讨论和平解决朝鲜问题,其任务是要帮助朝鲜在民主的基础上恢复国家统一,并使朝鲜从停战转入持久和平。我们知道,朝鲜曾为日本的殖民地达三十五年之久。日本帝国主义在第二次世界大战中失败后,朝鲜从日本帝国主义的锁链中解放了出来。大战结束至今已将九年,可是朝鲜却至今还处于分裂状态与不稳定的停战状态中,朝鲜的国家还没有获得统一,朝鲜的人民还不能享受和平的生活。这种情况是怎样造成的呢?为了说明这个问题,必须回顾一下九年来的历史。
The world-renowned Fifth Five-nation Conference in Geneva will soon be opened. One of the agenda items of the Geneva conference is to discuss the peaceful resolution of North Korea. Its task is to help North Korea restore its national unity on the basis of democracy and to move North Korea from a cease-fire to a lasting peace. We know that North Korea was a Japanese colony for 35 years. After the Japanese imperialists failed in the Second World War, North Korea was freed from the chains of Japanese imperialism. Nine years have passed since the war ended, but North Korea is still in a divided and unstable truce. North Korea’s country has not yet been reunified, and the people of North Korea can not enjoy a peaceful life. How has this been caused? To illustrate this issue, we must recall the past nine years of history.
