在深井和超深井钻井中,由于“转盘钻配合牙轮钻头”限制了钻头转速的提高。1997年在青海油田冷科1井三个井段进行了“螺杆钻具配合高效钻头”提高钻井效率的试验研究。第1次在3727.40~3751.87m,进尺24.47m,机械钻这0.87m/h,钻速比牙轮钻头提高20.83%;第2次在3756.77~3898.83m,进尺142.06m,机械钻速1.27m/h,比牙轮钻头进尺提高近2倍,钻速提高75.83%;第3次在4200.26~4305.45m,进尺105.19m,机械钻速0.74m/h,钻速比牙轮钻头提高60.87%。试验结果表明,使用“螺杆钻具配合高效钻头”不仅能提高深部井段的机械钻这,而且如果钻头、地层和螺杆钻具三者匹配合适,其它参数选用得当的话,提高钻速还有很大潜力。
