[本刊讯]最近,党中央书记处书记、中国企业管理协会顾问邓力群同志在会见全国青壮年职工文化技术补课工作座谈会全体代表时,对职工教育问题发表了重要讲话。邓力群同志说:职工教育任务很重。职工教育工作具有重大战略意义,是很有发展前途的事业。现在的问题是人手不够。中央一级、省一级、企业的人手都不够。大家要注意,现在和将来,一批批退休离休的干部、职工中,有一部分人是可以和愿意从事这项工作的。可以根据中央的有关指示,吸收一些身体好、有条件、而又热心于职工教育事业的同志参加这项工作。这是解决职工教育工作人员少和任务重、工作面宽的矛盾的一种有效途径。要把离休的干部、职工,当作我们工作的一支重要力量,委托他们搞调查研完、讲课、编书、总结经验及其他诸如此类的工作。这些同志有很高的革命热情和丰富的经验,只要身体能坚持,相信他们可以做很多事。每一个企业、每一个单位都有老同志,有热心家,愿意在有生之年,把全部心血用在职工教育方面。
Recently, Comrade Deng Liqun, secretary of the Party Central Committee’s secretary and China Enterprise Management Association, delivered an important speech on the issue of worker education when meeting with all the representatives of the seminar on remedial work of young and middle-aged people in the country. Comrade Deng Liqun said: Staff education has a heavy task. Staff education has great strategic significance and is a promising career. The problem now is that there is not enough manpower. At the central level, at the provincial level, there is not enough manpower in enterprises. We should note that now and in the future, a batch of cadres who retire retired and some of their staff members are able and willing to engage in this work. According to the relevant instructions of the Central Government, we can take in some good, qualified and enthusiastic comrades in the education of staff and workers to participate in this work. This is an effective way to solve the contradiction between fewer staff members, heavier tasks and wider working faces. We should retired cadres and workers as an important force in our work and entrust them with investigations, lectures, compiling books, summing up experiences and other such work. These comrades have high revolutionary enthusiasm and rich experience. As long as the body can persist, I believe they can do many things. Every enterprise and every unit has an old comrade and an enthusiastic home. They are willing to devote all their efforts to the education of staff and workers in their lifetime.
