在当今科技高速发展的时代里,在全国数亿青年之中,选拔出三名科技先锋,真有如凤毛麟角之稀贵了。几年前,共青团中央、全国青联在北京人民大会堂隆重推出三位优秀青年科技典型,授予他们“全国青年科技先锋”荣誉称号,其中就有辽宁本溪的关广生。当你知道38岁的关广生原本是一名毕业于“文革”时期的中学生的时候,必定会感到疑惑和震惊!然而事实已经作证,这不是一篇童话。他自1978年到工厂当工人以来,已经取得100多项技术革新成果。在有关汽车电子技术方面的钻研尤其令人注目,他有7项发明,其中有3项获得国家专利,有两项在技术上居国内领先地位,一项达到世界先进水平。他新研制的汽车供电系统故障检测仪在1991年中国青年科技博览会上荣获金奖。这位自学成才的工人工程师的名字,被排在辽宁省特等劳动模范的芳名录里。去
