福尔马林即为40%甲醛溶液,对细菌、真细、病毒等均有较强杀灭作用,实际工作中多采用浸泡消毒或气体薰蒸消毒法,作空气、被污染物品与医疗器械消毒。常用剂型有水溶液与醇溶液两种,醇溶液可明显减少刺激性醛味并增强杀菌作用。福尔马林属中等毒性,不宜用作食具与皮肤粘膜等消毒。
Formalin is 40% formaldehyde solution, the bacteria, fine, viruses, etc. have a strong killing effect, the actual use of more immersion disinfection or gas fumigation disinfection for air, contaminated items and medical equipment disinfection. Commonly used formulations are two kinds of aqueous solution and alcohol solution, alcohol solution can significantly reduce irritating aldehyde and enhance the bactericidal effect. Formalin is a moderate toxicity and should not be used for disinfection of utensils and skin and mucous membranes.
