许多驰骋在物理世界的著名大师们,为本刊撰写了颇有影响的上乘之作,给《现代物理知识》注入了生机与活力,使我们在期刊如林的竞争时代能生存、能发展.除了感激,我们还要顽强拼搏,还要励精图治,还要更上一层楼.汇集当代著名物理学家作品的《名人之作》栏目,今日同大家见面了.本期刊登的文章有:《治学经验及成材之道》(吴健雄)、《半个世纪的科学生涯——记吴健雄、袁家骝教授》(冯端)、《实践得真知、长才干》(施士元).由冯端先生撰写的文章,系南京大学出版一书的前言,特由该书主编之一的陆埮先生寄来,要求在本刊发表.这篇大作,既对后辈有所启迪,又对两位物理学家的个人素质进行生动描述,相信会对青年一代的成长很有作用,特予发表.
