中国油画在百余年发展中,经历了从模仿、借鉴到重构、创新的发展历程。油画这一外来画种,在中国的发展注定要经历无数艰辛坎坷,几代油画家努力探索,目的是使油画能植根于民族的土壤,生长出有本土特质的油画之树并能结出有中国味道的油画果实。基于这样的思考,几代油画家自觉地践行了与本民族文化融合,在文化自信中开创了中国油画写意之路。今天来探讨油画写意问题,是想从学理上厘清为什么要强调油画的写意性,价值何在,在与中华文化融合中又将形成怎样的世界油画格局及其独特性。带着这些问题的思考,从以下方面谈谈笔者的拙见。
In the development of more than a hundred years, Chinese oil painting has undergone a history of development from imitation, reference to reconstruction and innovation. The exotic painting of oil painting, destined to undergo numerous ups and downs in its development in China, has been diligently explored by several generations of oil painters in order to enable the oil painting to be rooted in the soil of the nation and to grow a tree of oil painting with local characteristics and to yield Chinese taste of the oil painting fruit. Based on this thinking, several generations of oil painters conscientiously implemented the integration with their own national culture and created a road of Chinese painting freehand in cultural confidence. Today to explore the issue of oil painting freehand thinking, is to learn from the theory to clarify why the emphasis on the freehand oil painting, the value of what, in the fusion with the Chinese culture will form what kind of world oil painting pattern and its uniqueness. With these questions, I will discuss the author’s humble opinion from the following aspects.
