According to the “Far East Health” magazine, Malaysia’s Ministry of Health recently allocated a US$2.5 million special fund to equip a relatively complete computer-controlled health care information network. The Ministry of Health will use this information network to directly communicate the health care of state health bureaus and general hospitals across the country.
