新近出版的日本学者实藤惠秀先生所著《中国人留学日本史》中译本,封面是淡黄色的,但在书脊中间却嵌入了一条黑色。不管封面设计者的初衷如何,我却仿佛从中看到了数以万计的黄皮肤、黑头发的“龙的传人”,在绵延近半个世纪的时间里,“大江歌罢掉头东”的豪迈壮举。留学日本,作为中国近代史上一场规模浩大的历史运动,尽管其中不免鱼龙混杂,但就其表现出的历史“合力”而言,却足以与那位“哲学日历中最圣洁的殉道者”普罗米修斯争辉。历史不应白白走过。只有对这段历史进行哲学的反思,恐怕才是对以自己的血水、泪水和汗水写下这段历史的先辈们的最好纪念。
The recently published Chinese scholar Shibuhiro Fujimoto’s Chinese version of The History of Chinese Students Studying in Japan, the front cover is light yellow but embeds a black color in the middle of the spine.
