我场地处广东东南沿海,属滨海咸田,每年种蔗1万多亩,由于多年连作,造成蔗龟逐年加重发生为害。1978年受害面积500亩,受害后而降低蔗糖分的甘蔗1,730吨;1979年受害面积增加到1,476亩,受害后而降低蔗糖分的甘蔗6,169吨;1980年受害面积发展为9,700亩,而受害后蔗茎干枯不能进糖厂的甘蔗近5,000吨,降低蔗糖分的甘蔗达15,205吨,造成经济损失70多万元。1981年发生面积继续增加到12,780亩,但由于采取了一系列的防治措
