Factors such as the physical and chemical environment can often damage cellular DNA molecules. Under normal circumstances, most cells can repair DNA damage through various mechanisms to maintain the integrity of DNA molecules. Non-repaired DNA damage can affect cell replication and cell function and lead to cell death, mutation and transformation. These changes can cause a variety of diseases in the body. Non-repaired DNA damage may also play an important role in the aging process. In this paper, human renal cells and epidermal cells were selected as the research object to observe the relationship between DNA repair ability and age, and to compare the DNA repair ability of renal cells and epidermal cells.
