对产品开发过程不断变化的要求，使得有必要提供新型软件工具，这种工具以多媒体环境和新的协作技术为基础，为缩短产品开发周期，提高产品质量作出贡献。在此情况下通讯技术对支持基于计算机的合作，改进信息供给，提高培训举措的有效性将发挥重要作用。本文将介绍Ｆｒａｕｎｈｏｆｅｒ生产设备和设计研究所（ＩＰＫ）设计技术部；柏林工业大学机床和制造技术研究所（ＩＷＦ）工业信息技术部的工作，这些单位以优化分布式产品开发为目的作出了各自的贡献
The ever-changing requirements of the product development process make it necessary to provide new software tools based on a multi-media environment and new collaboration technologies that contribute to shortening product development cycles and improving product quality. Under these circumstances, communication technologies will play an important role in supporting computer-based cooperation, improving the availability of information and improving the effectiveness of training initiatives. This article introduces the Fraunhofer Institute of Production Equipment and Design (IPK) Design Technology; the Industrial Information Technology Department of the Institute of Machine Tool and Manufacturing Technology (IWF) at the Technical University of Berlin, which made their respective efforts to optimize distributed product development contribution
