这是一项在国内具有领先水平的技术,请读者注意阅读应用松毛虫质型多角病毒(简称松毛虫CPV)防治松毛虫技术,是通过人工手段在松毛虫内繁殖松毛虫质型多角体病毒,俟病毒在体内富积时提取制剂,而后在受害林地内喷洒,使松毛虫普遍感染发病致死的一项实用技术。云南林科院在省经委、省科委、省林业厅的支持下开展了此项技术的试验和推广应用,1985年省科委对研究成果作了鉴定,同年获科技进步三等奖,1988年5月省经委和省林业厅对推广应用成果作了验收。我省采用现场围栏集虫,以天然饲料松叶养虫生产病毒的方法,技术可靠,方法简便。据统计资料仅1988年就集虫528160头,回收病虫448096头,粗提病毒液550公斤,含质型多角体1555482亿。松毛虫CPV防治松毛虫在试验和推广应用期间,效果显著:
