In Japanese, the ending tone of an adjective is negative second in tone (that is, the second to last note is the highest, for example, if it is a triplet, it is usually referred to as the second tone. If it is a four-syllable word , Is usually said three tone) and zero tone. Because the zero tone of the word is only a small part of them, it is often ignored by learners that the adjectives are negative second tone. Therefore, I decided to investigate the learners’ tonal mastery of this part of adjectives. After investigation, most Japanese language learners did not notice the conclusion of this difference and put forward solutions to this situation.
