排毒一直是个经久不衰的话题。“排毒”概念之所以能够深入人心,是因为它勾勒了这样一幅通俗易懂的人体新陈代谢的画面:我们每天都需要呼吸和饮食。在吸入空气、吃进食物的同时,也会把空气和食物中的毒素摄入体内;而食物本身在消化之后也会产生毒素。如果不把这些毒素排出,它们就会逐渐积累,对健康造成损害。这幅画面让大多数人相信,为了维持健康,就需要排毒。
Detox has always been an enduring topic. The concept of detoxification is so popular because it sketches an easy-to-understand picture of the body’s metabolism: Everyday we need to breathe and eat. While inhaling air and eating food, it also ingests the toxins in the air and food; the food itself also produces toxins after digestion. If you do not discharge these toxins, they will gradually accumulate, causing damage to health. This picture convinced most people that detoxification is needed to stay healthy.
