The theory of sustainable development was first proposed in the “Our Common Future” passed at the 42nd session of the General Assembly in 1987 in the context of the growing global problems such as resource crisis, population explosion and environmental degradation. This theory has been universally responded to and paid attention by governments and scholars all over the world.
