招风耳手术治疗在欧美报告较多,但日本甚少,盖招风耳在欧美常成为被嘲笑的对象,而在日本则视为“福耳”。要确定为招风耳,必须具备二个条件:①对耳轮前脚、后脚和体部均变平,耳甲腔舟状窝角变大(该角正常为90°±15°,超过120°为异常);②耳郭最外侧点向外向前偏位,该点距颅侧不应超过2 cm。本病原因尚不明了,但认为与胎生时耳轮的弯曲和对耳轮膨隆发育过程障碍有关。作者于手术中发现招风耳患者的耳郭斜肌和耳郭横肌均呈平坦化。
