[器材]本实验在有水龙头装置的地方,其所用器材,可简化到只需一个特制的塞子和一片硬纸板。稍正规一点可用:广口瓶一个,引水管一套(包括橡皮塞、玻璃管、橡皮管、螺丝橡皮管夹、90度弯曲玻璃管各一件),特制竹塞一个,瓦楞纸一块(约40×8cm)。如图1所示。[操作]按图1安装好仪器。适当调节橡皮管夹和竹塞的松紧程度,使流出的水流呈匀粗水柱状(实为滴得很快的水滴串)。将瓦楞纸片向“水柱”迅速横扫过去,即在瓦楞纸面上留下上密下稀,能显示出匀加速运动特点的水滴湿斑(如图2所示)。[原理]从同一位置在不同时刻开始下落的水滴,它们将在竖直方向排列成一条直线。各水滴间的距离,与它们各自出发的时刻有关。若它们出发的时刻间的时差相等,即每隔相等时
