Objective: To investigate the effect of high-flux hemodialysis on the nutritional status of patients with uremia. Methods: 38 patients with maintenance low-pass hemodialysis patients were switched to high-throughput hemodialysis (HPD). The HPD group was treated with Asahi Kasei APS-15u high-pass dialyzer for 6 months. The modified subjective comprehensive nutrition Assessment (MQSGA) and objective nutrition indicators for correlation analysis. Results: Subjective and comprehensive nutritional assessment after conversion to high-flux hemodialysis was significantly different from that of low-dose hemodialysis. Serum albumin (ALB) and hemoglobin were significantly increased compared with those before treatment (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in cholesterol compared with the former. Conclusion: High-throughput hemodialysis can effectively improve the nutritional status of maintenance dialysis patients.
