江苏省应用种子精选机选种已有7年历史,目前全省已推广各种型号的种子精选机2320台。通过实际使用,总结出了各种精选机的特点。 5XF-1.3型复式种子精选机推广了152台,该机由镇江脱粒机厂生产,功率2.5千瓦,每小时精选小麦1300公斤、水稻1000公斤。该机适应性广,还可精选玉米、大豆、高梁和草籽。种子净度可提高2～3%,千粒重提高1.1～2.3克,发芽率提高5.3～6.7%。选后种子适应机播。缺点是不易移动、清理不便、造价较高,每台4000多元。
