2013年1月14日,国际著名学术期刊《NatureGenetics》上在线发表小菜蛾基因组测序的研究成果,论文题目为“A heterozygous moth genome provides insights into herbivory and detoxification”。
On January 14, 2013, the internationally renowned academic journal “NatureGenetics” published online the results of genome sequencing of diamondback moths. The paper entitled “A heterozygous moth products provides insights into herbivory and detoxification”. The study was moderated by Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in Fujian Province and was jointly completed by Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University and Shenzhen Huada Gene Research Institute. The University of Cambridge and many other units participated. A total of 1819 scaffold sequences (N50 = 737kb) and a genome size of 343Mb were obtained. 18071 protein-coding genes and 1412 genes specific to diamondback moth were predicted. Sequencing of the Plutella xylostella genome is a milestone in further understanding and elucidating the interrelationships and molecular mechanisms of the coevolution between insects and host plants and further studying the genome of Lepidoptera.
