桂花糯是1967年我们用桂花黄与虹糯杂交,经多次南繁加代,于1972年定型的早熟晚糯新品种。桂花糯可作单季或后季栽培,在平原圩区或丘陵山区,都能获得高产。作单季栽培,一般亩产800—900斤,高的可达1,000—1,100斤以上;作后季栽培,一般亩产600—700斤,也出现过单产超《纲要》的大队和1,000斤的田块。它是我区的一个主要栽培品种,在省内外种植面积达200万亩以上。特征特性:1.成熟早,穗期稳定,秧龄弹性较大,对茬口的适应性较广。作单季栽培,常年在9月5日前后抽
