在澳门美术界,如有谁不知道郭桓的,不能不说是个遗憾。 大约6、7年前,一份《世界华人艺术报》上出现郭桓的名字及其所占篇幅不多的作品介绍。当时的中国大陆,人们对澳门还知之甚少,除了以博彩娱乐为特色的旅游城市之外,其它的几乎全然不晓,更想像不出这里有着宽松活跃的文化氛围,还有众多的画家、艺术家,而其中的郭桓,则实在有资格称得上特殊的个案。 初识郭桓,是在97年6月的一天,由诗人陶里介绍,我们见了面。他穿着随意、浓眉大眼、结实的体格,粗糙有力的手掌,热忱、豪爽。画家间的交往,用不着任何的寒喧和开场白,他带我看了已上墙和正在制作中的后现代主义作
In the art world of Macau, anyone who does not know Guo Huan can not but say that it is a pity.
