本文用一阶微扰理论研究渐变芯各向异性光纤的偏振特性。结果表明,在单模区域,如果芯层和包层的材料双折射异号,那么零偏振模色散总是能达到。这项研究从理论上给出一个新的方法,设计具有零偏振模色散的色移保偏光纤。
In this paper, the first-order perturbation theory is used to study the polarization characteristics of tapered core anisotropic fiber. The results show that in the single-mode region, the zero-polarization mode dispersion can always be achieved if the birefringence of the core and cladding materials is different. This research gives a new method in theory to design a color shift polarization maintaining fiber with zero polarization mode dispersion.
