1994年,杰夫·贝索斯创办了全球第一家网络零售公司亚马逊,苹果创始人乔布斯三年后才回归,四年后才诞生了一家叫谷歌的搜索引擎公司。虽然这三家公司都创办于车库,但却只有亚马逊将“车库文化”延续至今。在美国西雅图被称作“亚马逊校园”的九栋办公室群间穿梭,几乎很难见到公司的LOGO。办公楼里从过道到会议室,很多的装饰品都是员工们自己用光盘等废弃的材料进行的创造,甚至一块马厩的门板也被拿来废物利用。
In 1994, Jeff Bezos founded Amazon, the world’s first online retailer, and Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, returned only three years later, only four years after the birth of a search engine company called Google. Although all three companies were founded in the garage, only Amazon has extended “garage culture” to date. In Seattle, the United States, known as “Amazon Campus ” of the nine office shuttle between groups, it is almost impossible to see the company’s LOGO. From the aisles to the conference rooms in the office buildings, many of the decorations are created by the employees themselves using discarded materials such as CDs, and even the door of a stable is used for waste.
